Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the US Army in 1962, Tony enrolled at the University of Buffalo and pursued the studies of economics, finance and business law.
Tony joined Trubee, Collins & Co., Inc. in April 1966 and was licensed as a financial advisor shortly thereafter. After 42 years with Trubee, Tony is a Vice-President and acts as the Firm Secretary. In addition, he also coordinates the Firm’s mutual funds and insurance product business, as well as syndicate investment matters. Tony holds his General Securities Series 7, General Securities Principal Series 24, Uniform State Series 63 and Investment Advisor Series 65 licenses, as well as Life, Health and Variable Annuities licenses.
To further the Firm’s productivity and resourcefulness, he regularly coordinates Firm-wide research meetings to encourage idea development and sharing.
Tony takes pride in the fact many of his earliest clients continue to conduct their investment business with him. As a true compliment, many of their relatives have also established accounts with him. Tony recognizes the importance of structuring investment strategies to meet each client’s personal goals — he strives to conduct his business relationships this way.
Trubee, Collins & Co., Inc. is one of the earliest members of the Buffalo Executive Association (Executive Business Networking In The Buffalo — Niagara Region Of WNY), having joined in 1943. Tony is the primary representative for the Firm and served as Director in 1987 and 1992; he was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Graycliff Conservancy from 2002 to 2004 as well as Recording Secretary of the Western New York Audubon Society during the late ‘80s.
When not involved in the financial side of life, Tony splits his time between the Porsche Club of Western NY and the time-honored Buffalo Club — while still finding time to act as group leader for the Western New York Paget’s Disease Support Group. He resides in Derby, New York and attends St. Vincent de Paul Church.
